Juneteenth 2022: No Crystal Stair

Jewel Ward delivered a captivating performance at Juneteenth Freedom 2022: No Crystal Stair in Hendersonville, North Carolina, on June 11, 2022. The Henderson County Public Library, in Kaplan Auditorium, played host to this remarkable event. She moved the audience with renditions of "Natural Woman" and "Gotta Be," contributing to an ensemble of talented speakers, dancers, spoken word artists, musicians, and poets.

The program featured an array of engaging speakers and performers, including Tynesha Carden, Diana Casteel, Indian Jackson, Donnie Black, Crystal Cauley, The Carolina Diva Diamondz, Jenna Jaffe, Deborah Shelton-Ogiste, Jewel Ward, Linda Smith, and Tony Robles.

Due to popular demand, the ensemble is preparing for a third performance of "No Crystal Stair" at Unity Church in Hendersonville this summer 2022. Stay tuned for more details and be sure to check back for updates.
