Morganton's Play Music on the Porch Day saw Jewel Ward hosting a heartwarming Friends and Family Jam in Morganton, NC on August 26, 2023, sponsored by Play Music on the Porch worldwide. This vibrant event was organized by Jay Brandt, with an impressive 2,910 locations across 48 countries taking part.

The Friends and Family Jam featured an array of talented musicians, poets, and storytellers, including Mike (on guitar and vocals), the Table Rock Ukulele Players (Annette McRay and Brittny Charity on vocals and ukulele), Tony Robles (poet), Serina Penington and Tyler Penington (vocals and guitar), Chris Eselgroth (vocals and guitar), Camey Hawkins Ervin (vocals), Tim Robinson (vocals and guitar), Notes from the Well (Michaela Pittman Yost, Kristen Luft, Lahari Pullakhandam, and Elizabeth Jackson on vocals and guitar), Jewel Ward (vocals and guitar), Tim Pittman (vocals and guitar), Tony Robles (poet), Jimmy Buchanan (vocals), and Robert Zachary (storytelling, though not shown in the main video due to the livestream ending).
